Adam Harrower

Trained as a botanist at the University of Cape Town and a horticulturist at Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, he has a passion for all living things with roots and especially the treasure trove of plants found in the Cape Flora.
He works at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens as a senior botanical horticulturist specialising in plant breeding, discovering new plants in the wild, and the cultivation of rare and endangered plants especially trees, succulents and bulbs.
