Cape’s Best Everyday Eateries

Eat Out magazine
crisscrosses South Africa each year to produce a listing of the 500 best restaurants. It’s ”SA’s best guide to SA’s best food”.

With a panel of 42 dedicated and anonymous reviewers, 4 judges draw up a list of 20 nominees that comply with guidelines requiring establishments to be open and operating with the same chef for a full year.

Eat Out lists over 5,000 restaurants (as well as their menus, maps, pictures, specials & longer reviews) and publishes hot-off-the-press restaurant openings – and closures, food trends, chef’s movements and more. Nominations are also open to the public for their restaurant recommendations.

Just hitting headlines is the Western Cape’s Best Everyday Eateries, while the rest of the country’s favourite restaurants will be announced on October 25. Look out for this.
