Botswana’s Zarafa & Duba Plains Camps: Rates, Dates
ZARAFA CAMP overlooks the Zibadianja lagoon, where the emphasis is on intimate hospitality in the tradition of a by gone era.
Its four luxuriously appointed tents – all en suite, with copper baths, indoor and outdoor showers – are offered on full board basis.
On a Safari, guests enjoy wide vistas of the surrounding flood plains from private verandahs as well as the viewing deck that overlooks a small, active water hole.
Set within game rich flood plains, the camp is located in the far eastern sector of The Selinda, a private reserve that straddles the Selinda Spillway that links the Okavango Delta’s waterways.
Why not consider two nights here and two nights at Duba, for the best of both?
DUBA PLAINS CAMP, perhaps the Okavango Delta’s most remote camp, is small, intimate and situated on an island.
Located in a private reserve in the furthermost region of the Okavango Delta, an area renowned for the endless conflict between prides of lions and herds of buffalo which sustain them, it’s famous for where the National Geographic documentary Relentless Enemies was filmed.
Offered on a full board basis, each of the six spacious tents has a verandah overlooking the flood plains and an en suite bathroom with hot and cold running water and an outdoor shower.
