Located in the V&A Waterfront, the OZCF Market is a cheerleader for community farming and artisanal culture. (OZCF: The Oranjezicht City Farm).
As founder Sheryl Ozinsky says: “This is a place where food is talked about almost as enthusiastically as it’s consumed”.

Partnering with local small-scale farmers and suppliers, it not only offers the freshest, seasonally and ethically sourced ingredients but shortens the supply chain and gives back to independent farmers and artisanal food producers. And uses its crowd-pulling Waterfront locale and agricultural value to bring folks together, educate and entertain. Much more than a market, it is a feel good place where people are happy and relaxed, and every inspired by the unwavering energy of founder Sheryl and her team.

Sheryl’s career is synonymous with the development of tourism in Cape Town, as well as a couple of the city’s most iconic attractions.
She started as a Marine Biologist, developed the Two Oceans Aquarium, then helped transform Robben Island into a heritage site before helming Cape Town Tourism for 6 years. ‘This changed my life completely as I realised the incredible asset that we have here in the city; the people are so warm with incredible stories to tell.’

That combination was award winning and under Sheryl’s guidance would take the city from relative obscurity during the apartheid era, to a top world tourism destination – which it is today.
