Visiting South Africa had been a dream for twelve long years and then the stars, and Marion Ellis / Cape Insights, truly aligned to make my trip an even better reality than my wildest dreams.
If I voiced a desire or consideration she waived her magic wand and made it happen, providing me with fabulous private guides to the Cedarberg area to see San/ Bushmen rock art area on a pre tour option, and arranging a private dinner with quilters – my passion.
When she wasn’t personally sharing her extensive knowledge and wonderful self, she enlisted other tour guides who were equally top notch. And when a minor annoyance at a hotel in Johannesburg occurred, she had it resolved pronto from Cape Town, and with a bottle of complimentary MCC (South African champagne called Méthode Cap Classique due to French restrictions on terminology).
I’ve visited 22 countries and joined my share of tours, but South Africa and Marion Ellis/ Cape Insights are the best of the best! Keep some MCC cold for me. .. I shall return!
