While some of you may be experiencing extreme cold snowy blizzards (sorry), the Western Cape is basking in another glorious summer with balmy evenings and late sunsets to enjoy food and wine in South Africa (not sorry).
Speaking of glorious food, in the eye-pulling village of Paternoster up the West Coast, chef Garth Almazan opened Leeto (a Khoisan word meaning journey), where local specialities merge with authenticity. At this setting you can have the spectacular ocean views with your local flavours on a plate.
The decor is “beachside sophistication”, and the menu caters creatively for vegan and vegetarians too.
Leeto has joined the growing West Coast “foodie scene”, and is open seven days a week for a lunch or dinner.
Here’s to raising a glass over sunset on the beach in Africa soon … and wishing you a Happy New Year!
